Vildmarksdagen is placed 8 kilometers from Thisted and lies between Denmark's two cleanest lakes

Car

It is easy enough to travel by car to Vildmarksdagen. As you can see on the map below there is free parking right by the entrance. The only thing you need to do is to plug Agerholmvej, 7700 Thisted into your GPS. When you drive down Klitmøllervej, there will be sign that points towards the park. Just follow the road and continue when you hit the gravel road.

Bus

There is a couple of busses that drive between Thisted and Klitmøller, the best way to decide which to take it to look at rejseplanen.dk

Bicycle, foot and scooters

If you would rather not take the bus or drive by car that is ofcourse lots of possibilities to walk or bicycle. There is so much great nature to enjoy on your way to Vildmarksdagen.

The wilderness is extremely big and it can be overwhelming trying to find your way around all the fun experieces. Luckily we have created a map that can guide you around the 6 different experience universes.

All the universes will be represented each Wednesday during the school holidays, but there is a possibility that they will vary from day to day. You can read more about this under experiences.

You can look forward to arriving at Vildmarksdagen as at the entrance you will be making your own ticket! It is also at the entrance where you will meet our sweet guides that can guide you around the activities.

When you participate in Vildmarksdagen you will receive your own map for the day, to make it easier for you and your family to plan what you want to do.
